Server Logs

We use industry standard server logs that record your IP address alongside timestamps and each URL visited. These server logs have a limited and legitimate purpose of detecting and preventing fraud and unauthorized system access, and ensuring the security of your systems.

Who we share your data with

Visitor comments and form submissions may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

We may pass your information to third party service providers who we have engaged for the purpose of completing tasks and providing services to you on our behalf (for example, we may provide your contact details to a courier company to deliver goods to you). We disclose only the personal information that is necessary to deliver the service or maintain the security of our website.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

We don’t set a particular time limit on storing information from form submissions because we may need it for future reference and deal with your enquiry. If you want your information to be removed from our database, please contact us. We will remove it anytime there are concerns about your privacy.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
